Meeting The Commander-In-Chief (Thailand)

Friday 7:01 PM

Today, I had a private meeting with General Narongpan Jitkaewthae, the Commander-In-Chief of the Royal Thai Army, to discuss the partnership between The Royal Thai Army and ONE, and how we will lead the future of Muay Thai together. The most important objective is to inspire our nation, as well as the world, through the beauty of Muay Thai. The Commander-In-Chief told me a heartwarming story from his childhood about how he used to watch Muay Thai with his parents, siblings, and friends on a black and white TV every weekend. They would all spar playfully in the living room after watching the fights. He also expressed appreciation for the important role that ONE has in shaping culture, values, and society for the next generation around the world. Through the power of storytelling and the magic of our heroes, ONE ignites hope, celebrates values, creates dreams, inspires nations, and changes the world.

Muay Thai is Thailand’s national treasure. As the CEO of the world’s largest stage of martial arts and now as the main promoter of the legendary Lumpinee Stadium, I promise to do my best to lead our industry to its greatest heights. I hope to work with all promoters, gym owners, and athletes of the Muay Thai industry everywhere around the world to build a prosperous future together. We are ONE. Stay tuned for the biggest news in the history of Muay Thai this coming Monday September 12!

Thank you again to General Narongpan Jitkaewthae, the Commander-In-Chief of the Royal Thai Army, for your friendship, trust, and support. I would also like to give a special thank you to General Suchart Dangprapai, General Ronawud Ruengsawat, and General Vasan Phungsampao for this precious opportunity to inspire our country and put Lumpinee Stadium on the world stage of sports. #WeAreONE
