I had the amazing opportunity to share my story of starting and building Asia’s largest global sports media property in history with CNBC Managing Asia’s Christine Tan inside of the ONE cage! I have to pinch myself sometimes. 6 years ago, ONE Championship was just an idea on a piece of paper. Today, it has a global broadcast to over 1 billion potential viewers across 128 countries and a run rate of 2.5 billion video views. And we are just getting started.

I am full of gratitude for every blessing. The truth is that life is a lot of luck. Don’t believe the hype. It’s been a long, hard road for ONE Championship and myself. I will tell you that the first 3 years of my biggest dream in life were full of rejections, failures, and mistakes. Things looked very bleak for ONE Championship. My friends and family all thought I was crazy. And the world thought I was stupid. Luckily, my love for martial arts conquered all. It might sound corny, but love truly is the most powerful force in the world. It was the fuel for my resilience in the darkest moments. Do what you love, and love what you do. Ultimately, happiness is your greatest reward.
