Where My Heart Belongs

Where My Heart Belongs

Thursday 1:23 AM

I just got my passport renewal done today, and it made me reflect on life.

I might be Thai-Japanese by birth, but my heart belongs to Thailand. Many years ago, I left Thailand in poverty and shame when my family went bankrupt, and lost everything. After my father abandoned us, I never thought that I would ever return. I am full of gratitude for the way life has blessed me. Even though I have had the good fortune to travel all over the world, nothing quite compares to my home. #gratitude
