Martial Arts

Despite his hectic travel schedule, Chatri trains martial arts almost every day without fail. His favorite martial arts are Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. With over 35 years of martial arts experience as a student, a fighter, an instructor, and a coach, Chatri has had a lifelong obsession in martial arts. Inducted into the Black Belt Hall of Fame in 2019, Chatri is a certified senior Muay Thai instructor under the legendary Kru Yodtong Senanan. He also holds a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Master Renzo Gracie.

Dogs

Chatri has always loved dogs for as long as he can remember. As a child, he grew up with dogs. And as an adult, he’s always had bulldogs as pets. He currently has two bulldogs and a golden retriever that he spoils. Chatri always jokes that he treats them better than many parents treat their kids.

Travel and Food

Chatri is absolutely passionate about travel and food. He has traveled to over 250+ different cities across 70+ different countries around the world. Last year, Chatri took 100+ staff from one of his companies, EVOLVE Mixed Martial Arts, on an all-expenses-paid, luxury vacation to the Maldives. Some of his favorite countries include Thailand, Singapore, Switzerland, Japan, India, the Maldives, Vietnam, Rwanda, and Jamaica. One of his favorite things to do whenever he visits a new place is to find local street food to eat. Chatri eats everything, but street food is his favorite.

Adrenaline Highs

Chatri loves excitement and adrenaline. Whether it is snowboarding in the Alps, cage-diving with great white sharks in the Farallon Islands, or wild gorilla trekking in Rwanda, he has criss-crossed the globe for the thrill of adventure.

Documentaries

Chatri is addicted to documentaries because he loves learning new things. A funny fact is that Chatri watches only documentaries when he is on a flight. He doesn’t like watching movies on the plane. He also loves travel shows like Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations and others.
